Memorial Giovanni Cittadini

Cittadini Spa, always committed to supporting youth sports activities in the region, has chosen to sponsor mini rugby by establishing the 1st Giovanni Cittadini Memorial in March, on the tenth anniversary of the passing of the beloved President of the company. He was a great rugby fan and supporter of his son Lorenzo, who played professionally for twenty years as a tighthead prop.

Eighteen under-8 and under-10 teams will take part in the Cittadini Memorial Tournament on Sunday, March 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the Gussago field, followed by the award ceremony.

On Sunday morning, March 24, the tournament for under-12 teams will take place on the Ospitaletto field, also followed by an award ceremony.

Rugby is also a training ground for young people in great values: respect, support, loyalty, friendship, and sharing team unity to reach a common goal—scoring a try together.
