Sealive - General Assembly March 2023
On 8 and 9 March last, in Brescia, Cittadini spa organized the sixth General Assembly of researchers from various European universities and companies, including Cittadini spa represented by engineer Cesare Cittadini, participants in the European research project on the circular economy and eco-sustainability “SEALIVE” (acronym for “Strategies of circular Economy and Advanced bio-based solutions to keep our land and seas aLIVE from plastic contamination”), under the “Blue Growth” call of the “Horizon 2020” EU program.
During the 2 days of meetings, various work sessions were held, also broadcast in live streaming on the internet, to report on the results achieved in the project which aims to reduce plastic waste and its contamination of the marine environment in particular .
At the end of the work, the participants visited the Cittadini's plant in Paderno Franciacorta, to learn about its production and the initiatives carried out with a view to sustainability and innovation.
